Is Law Enforcement the closest job out there to James Bond without joining the CIA?

Hate to break it to you but 99% of that stuff will never happen. That's all Hollywood. I've been a cop for 5 years and have never shot anyone. I know a lot of cops (over 100) and none of them have ever shot anyone.
