What is beyond 14 Billion light years? A Wall?

Doesn't that ume that "space" travels at the speed of light? If "space" is not matter or light or anything else we can understand or measure, then couldn't it travel at any speed? It could be that the moment "space" happened, it happened everywhere at once. (at least, based on this description.)
