Do you use dental chews or treats on your cat?
A really great thing for your cats teeth is to give it raw bones. Chicken wings and necks work perfect for this, just make SURE they are not cooked. Cooking causes the bone to splinter, and can cause problems if swallowed. Raw bones are actually the best dental tool you have readily available. Does this replace a dental cleaning at the vet? No, and if your cat already has plaque and other dental issues, raw bones aren't going to be as much benefit. Most vet cleanings are good for a full year, but if you get it once and start taking good care of the teeth, you can avoid them for a good long time.
