Does the maverick 88 shotgun with the 28" barrel look good with a top folding stock?

im thinking of picking one of these up from wal mart the barrel seems like it may be a little long i wanna set it up for home defense if anyone has done this send pics or links i wanna see what it is like or ideas on sawing it yes i know it has to be 28" atleast if i sawed it i wouldnt go under 20 any advice on this
